Robert helped me out a lot. Robert and I had 3 calls when I was going through a life transition. I had been looking for work for 16 months to no avail, and I wasn't sure what I was looking for, but a friend recommended I reach out to Robert, and I was listened to, honored, and given sound coaching. What went well was Robert's listening, wise perspective, and compassion. In the work we did together he really didn't give me any answers as much as he asked me the right questions. Questions I wouldn't have known to ask myself otherwise. He helped me gain some key perspectives on how I was looking at myself and my life, and allowed me to gain a new attitude about my situation, which allowed me to take action I didn't see relevant before we spoke. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening without judgement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as a volunteer coach and leader in a community service organization for 22 years. I trained to become a certified Life Coach and garduated from The Coach Training Alliance coaching program.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I discovered at an early age that I was interested in people and people liked talking to me. I always wanted to know why people did the things they do. I am innately curious and I am very intuitive. I think that comes from being an artist. I enjoy working with people to discover who they really are and what they really want. I learn a lot in the process.
