What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first meet with the customer in person, and listen to their needs. If I feel I can meet those needs, I give them a price estimate as soon as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my education and knowledge is self-taught from diving into the work. My training comes from agricultural classes in college, and reading many books. I've also gardened since childhood.
Janitorial and pet-sitting work is more recent for me. I have done three years of those jobs so far.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started helping family friends at age 16, partly because no one else wanted (or still wants) to pull weeds.
