Client hires me a year in advance to DJ her wedding and then I don’t hear anything from her for about 3 to 4 months. Finally gets a hold of me to tell me that the wedding is off and I notify her that her security deposit will be lost she said she was OK with that. After that about a month later she called me back and says the wedding is still on again I attempted to get in contact with her several times before she canceled the wedding to set up times to talk to her about Music never got back to me completely horrible at communicating. She then states the date of the wedding that I’m responsible for her wedding officiant Audio needs which I was not it was clearly stated that my Equipment was for my purposes only tje client was completely rude with me on the phone and she was lucky I did not walk away at that point from her because it states in my contract that I could walk away at any moment if she was being rude at any point, I decide to finish the event. She shows up late to her own wedding (2 1/2 hours late to be exact.) She ran her own wedding to the ground by spending way too much time on all her wedding games which ran about three hours too late. By the time music was played 98% of the guests were gone. And yes there was a glitch while her first dance played which is something that’s beyond my control, I did not stop the song my Equipment glitched and as a DJ you Move On and you deal with the situations accordingly. Never unprofessional with client so even after all that I believe I should get a five star rating just for having to deal with all of her issues. Music was what we would play at most events like this. Was given absolutely no feedback on what her taste were except for you just play anything you play so the client did not communicate with me, was not clear on what her music likes were. As a DJ working with this client you have everything going against you I believe I held my own just putting up with her all day. Even the groom‘s father whom I spoke with very clearly about almost leaving the event said to me you are being very professional with her she is absolutely almost impossible to deal with and don’t worry about it there’s nothing you can do about her she runs her own show we weren’t even included in this event so I will talk to my son and have him sort this situation out. So to the client who wrote this review I while I respect your opinion you did nothing for your event to be successful I tried a lot more for your event to be successful than you did.
