Introduction: I feel my work stands out from others because I work my style around what my clients like; some clients want fun images, some want traditional. I read that and deliver. I'm also a full service photographer. I make it my job to ensure that my clients almost never have to lift a finger. From easy, online payments, to posing, and even prints and products. I do it all. I love capturing the beauty of the world, the moments between people. During weddings, it's the look between a father and the bride before she walks down the isle. During engagement sessions, it's the love between two people who are about to commit their lives to each other. For Senior portraits, it's catching them off guard and getting a photo of them thinking or indulging in something the love. In Labour, it's the emotion between the parents and by-standers, and the love in mom's eyes when she holds her baby for the first time. It's not about the money to me. The money helps pay some bills and update my equipment so I can continue doing what I love.

Forever photography did some modeling portraits for me and I was really pleased with how they turned out. Sami Jo is really fun to work with because she is very professional, but makes you feel comfortable so you can joke around and have fun. She gives you a lot of options when it comes to edits, as well. She is doing some boudoir photos of me and im excited to see the final product of those. She doesn't make it awkward and will keep photos private and tasteful if that is what you wish. The photoshoots are very affordable, well priced, and not limited like others. It's SO nice working with a photographer that gives you unlimited options with poses and outfits. I felt very resricted when working with other photographers that would only give me 1 pose and 20 photos without different editing styles (black and white, enhanced color, toned down color). She was very open to me giving her constructive criticism and wanted me to give input with what I wanted. It's also very nice that she has a second shooter to have a different perspective and get different angles. I will definitely be coming back for more in the future!

Sami has done quite a few shoots for me. She did my maternity and newborn photos. I asked her to keep them off the internet and private, and she had no problem doing that. My experience with her was always fun but professional. The photos that she provided me are breath taking. Just talking about them is making me tear up! I had a specific style that I wanted to go for that I was afraid was too picky or she wouldn't be able to achieve, but when I saw the final product, she really blew me away! I couldn't be happier. Her prices are very affordable, and her packages are such a great deal. I will most definitely be back for my wedding portraits and my daughter's one year photos. Thank you Sami Jo, you've been amazing to work with, and the beat photographer I've dealt with!

I hired this photographer to do engagement photos for me and my fiancé. At the time we had just had our let initials tattooed so they were looking pretty bad. Sami, edited them to make them look fantastic. She also took lots of pictures and really let us chose what we wanted. We will definitely go back when we get married and for maternity pictures. You did amazing!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll invite my client out to one of my favourite coffee shops around town, buy them a coffee, and get to know them a little bit. What they like, what their story is, and what they expect out of working with me. I lay everything out for them- pricing structure, payment plans, products, etc. I explain to them how the sessions work, the timeline, how products get delivered. I'll usually ask my clients to share their personal Pinterest with me so I can visually see what they're looking for, and sometimes I'll use it as a posing list to help sessions run smoother!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken multiple classes, seminars, and workshops to achieve my goals in photography. I've worked with some amazing photographers that helped to polish me in the world of photography. And life has been a great teacher; experience teaches you a lot!
