FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will personally discuss this with my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking to find seminars or to see what other certifications are available to me. I research the internet and keep in contact with professionals via LinkedIn and Facebook.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked at a YMCA for 13 years. I loved the interaction with individuals and providing answers to questions and providing exercises for members. I also was an elementary teacher for 9 years. Although I taught all subjects, I made sure to discuss healthy choices when it came to nutrition and encouraged students to exercise and join our schools running club. I became a certified personal trainer because I enjoy the interaction with my clients and being able to provide them with the tools and support they need to have success in this part of their lives. Our society as a whole struggles with weight control and a lack of physical activity. I want to provide a service that enables people to see that they can accomplish success and use what they learn in their daily lives. This truly is a lifestyle change but it is well worth it!
