When my furnace failed to start last week, I was told by an HVAC contractor that I needed to replace my furnace because of a faulty heat exchanger but the tech never tested it. Five days later, I found Thumbtack who connected me with Absolute Comfort to do a combustion analysis as that's the only way to confirm a faulty heat exchanger. The owner and service tech tested the furnace, pulled out and cleaned the burner assembly, fired it up and did the combustion analysis that confirmed the faulty heat exchanger. He quoted a price to install a 98% efficient furnace and offered to clear his schedule so his techs could start immediately. Three hours after Absolute Comfort arrived to do a service call, I had my old furnace removed and a new one being unboxed in my basement. 24 hours after their initial arrival, my new furnace was installed and operating. Also included at no charge was a smart thermostat and a case of filters, neither of which are cheap. In the week prior to contacting Absolute Comfort, I sought a number of bids for furnacce replacement. I've found that HVAC is like auto repair, find a good one that you can trust. I'm confident that I got the best product at the best price from a professional and personable contractor and team, Absolute Comfort.

Alex was very polite, professional, and did a great job. He fit us in on short notice and drove through Milwaukee rush hour to get our system fixed before one of the hottest days so far. Not only did he quickly diagnose and fix the issue that we were having with our ac, but he also followed a hunch and made us aware of a potential problem in the future. We now can plan and save to have that resolved soon and will definitely be calling absolute comfort.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not have a complicated pricing schedule. Our hourly rate is $95 an hour from 8am-5pm $127.50 after hours and weekends. 1 hour minimum charge. $30 trip charge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always on the lookout for new products or methods. We try to stay up to date on new things by subscribing to the leading magazines and contractor newsletters. When new equipment is released we obtain factory training to ensure we meet all requirements for proper installation.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We have always enjoyed fixing things and working out problems. This was the most logical progression.
