JL Moving provides employees who are fully trained and experienced in International, Long Distance and Local moves. Not only are they trained to move furniture, but they are also trained to pack and move the most fragile items that are not every day items. All employees are all background checked and in company uniform. All furniture is wrapped accordingly to ensure no damage during the moving process as well as any disassembling and reassembling when required. Floor protection is utilized to ensure no damage throughout the moving process. We offer a variety of services including short and long term storage in our clean temperature controlled warehouse. Our staff here at JL Moving truly take pride in the moving business and it clearly shows.
Every day is a unique experience. We meet new people on a daily basis and have the opportunity to provide a service above and beyond the customers expectations.

They showed up 15 minutes early, reviewed with me what needed to be done and discussed any concerns I had. They immediately got to work and had my whole 3 bedroom house, basement, 2 family rooms and random oddities loaded within 2 hours. Very polite, worked hard. They did a great job

The guys took great care making sure all our furniture and flooring was protected. A much better experience then we had a few months earlier with Speedy Men

I can't say enough about how kind, energetic and careful the two men were who helped us unload our pods!!! The weather was warm and they just kept on going! I highly recommend this company!! Also, we had little notice ahead of time when the pods were going to be delivered. Renee was very helpful and patient with our inability to accurately time the day. It worked out very well!! 😊

They were a little late due to the snow covered icey roads. I can't fault for that. But once they arrives, they assessed the piano, created a plan and moved it in a very short period of time. No damage to the piano or to the house. Price was right on. I already have recommended them to a friend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please call for quote. Our prices are very competitive and guarantee you will receive the best move for your money. Please be aware that if a price is too good to be true, most likely the company does not have the proper license and/or insurance. Don’t be fooled by these companies, as your valuable belongings are in their hands. They often resort to using strictly rental trucks with very little to no proper equipment to safely do the job. JL Moving is fully insured to accommodate any move. JL Moving is an Interstate agent for Bekins/Wheaton Van Lines.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost is gathering all details pertaining to the move. We focus on what dates work best for their move and what the move entails. We work around the customer's schedule allowing for a less stressful move. We also make sure the manpower and equipment is right for the job. Each job is unique. We want to build a relationship with each customer rather than make it more of a transaction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with 3 of the top worldwide van lines for over 21 years. I have experience moving oversea jobs down to basic local moves. I have successfully moved clients in all 48 states and Canada. I have a very low claim ratio and take pride in every single move JL Moving services. Our employees are well versed in all aspects of the moving business.
