Introduction: My Mission: To provide you with services that will ultimately empower and enhance your message, whatever it may be! I can write it for you, or I'll help you write it! An insightful and reflective writer and reviewer, I can assist you in defining purpose, organizing your manuscript, tweaking sentence structure and word choice, and/or editing to get that piece polished and ready for publication. My Credentials: MA in English and Creative Writing with a Specialization in Non-Fiction. BS in English and Special Education. Studies in Rhetoric. Knowledgeable in MLA, APA, and Chicago Style documentation. Studied memoir extensively in MA program; currently writing a memoir. That said, I've also done extensive research on a variety of issues, as well. I am familiar with both technical and creative writing. More on my background: I teach college level English Composition, Argument, and Speech. In so doing, I review a wide variety of students' written work, offering them constructive feedback and educative editing (reasons for changes). As a previous teacher of special education, I reviewed and wrote documents of a technical nature. Prior to that, I worked as an Administrative Assistant at Bayer, Inc. in Chicago and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance in Milwaukee, preparing and proofreading business documents, PowerPoint presentations, as well as transcribing sales reports. My areas of expertise include teaching and education at all levels (primarily English, Literature, and Spanish), holistic health, organic gardening, repurposing items for home and garden art, camping, and cross country skiing. I look forward to working with you on your project, whether it is proofing, "tweaking," serious reconstruction, ghostwriting, or co-authoring.
