- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free trial lesson!! Think of this as an audition - not for you but for ME! I am auditioning for you! I want you to make sure I'm the right teacher for you. In this lesson we'll sing or perform a piece you prepared for the trial and I'll give you feedback - just like in a lesson! We'll talk about how lessons work, the logistics of scheduling, and then its up to you to decide if I'm the right fit!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I still study voice myself with two nationally known Broadway music directors! I also take frequent master classes with various actors, directors, and casting agents around the country. I do this so that not only am I successful in my own acting career but so that I can share these lessons with my students! I also have my teaching certification in Vocal Pedagogy and Coaching and a very strong background in vocal health and rehabilitation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love performing! While I was growing up I worked with who ever I could but I didn't have access to professionals in the field. Once I became on of those professionals I wanted to make sure that students of all kinds had access to the training they deserve!
