- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For my wedding photography, I feel every wedding is different so what might be good for one couple isn't for another. I will price your wedding photography on your needs and what type of photographic format you would like to have. I will work with you to keep you on budget and get the coverage you want and products you desire. For my portrait photography, I start out with a session fee. Again, I will offer you the proper size prints on the paper or canvas that you would like to have not by a package.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My wedding clients and I get together and decide what their wedding coverage needs are, the type of products they want and budget. We will complete a contract. A down payment is made and the date is reserved on my calendar. About two weeks before the wedding we get together to go over the final details and any final payments due are completed. I always would like the bride and groom to have a list of who they want family photo's taken with because weddings are busy and we don't want to forget anyone. Depending on the products desired, we get together a couple of weeks after the wedding to either deliver them or to choose which images are going to be used for special print products.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self educated. I knew at a very young age that this is what I wanted to do. I have been taking photographs and editing for several decades. I am always doing research, attending seminars for photography and editing. I am always trying different or new techniques because it's fun to see the results.
