FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is very basic. I give free estimates and will give you the final cost upon first inspection. The cost is based on the condition of the surfaces to be painted, how much prep work needs to be done (my prep is extensive but only very excessive prep work gets charged extra), the size of the area to be painted, and the type of paint desired. I will take all of this in to account before starting the work and will give a quote based on that. If there were extra charges that arose after the work has begun, those charges would be assessed and agreed upon before that work takes place.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always liked painting little things and once when I was younger I decided to see how doing it professionally would feel, and I liked it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be wary, don't just pick a painter based on cost or how quick they can get it done. In my experience, the faster and cheaper they do the work only means they are cutting more corners and caring less about the customers property, they only care about their money.
