FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
WEDDING RECEPTIONS, Its a party ready to happen and I just love being a part of it. Its like taking people on a journey through time. And @ the end of the night to see all the happy faces and Bride & Groom telling me what a great time every one had. That is what makes my job the best job to have.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't cut the cost, cheep is not better. Your reception is the biggest part of the day. Right after you get married. Chicken is Chicken!! The music that's what counts. That's what guest will remember. If the DJ was bad that's what guest will remember. Experience is a big part of the day also. A DJ needs to be able to read the guest and play all kinds of music for them.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Its a lot of work!! Its not just fun and games. There's a lot to it. Its just not the or 5 hours of a day. There's prep work, making sure song library is up to date every week. Travel to the reception, set up, a lot of times there are people to move around, steps to climb, stages and on and on it goes. Then there's the set up, most of the time its warm. Then there's the 4 or 5 hours of playing the music.. and there's always some one at the end of the reception yelling one more song. Tear down, packing it up again and the travel home. So you see and can be a long day not the 4 or 5 hours.
