Had full window replacements, bathroom remodel, new egress window put into basement as well as even did some water damage repair work for me in my basement. Where others had quoted me a price just for my water damage. Curro's Unlimited did all the above at a much better price.

Mr Curro built a deck for me and did some work inside my home, Pat and the people he had working for him were very professional and I was satisfied with the work they did, I asked him to return to do some touch up work but unfortunately he didn't follow up, other then that I I am happy with the work and fair price

Hired on Thumbtack

After using Thumbtack I was contacted by Mr. Curro on a Thursday. He told me he was busy that day, but would try to stop by, but if he couldn't, he would be over at 8:00 am Saturday morning. On Saturday, I called him at 9:30 to see what happened after he didn't show. He said he was busy working and would come at lunch or after work at 4:30. At 5:30 I texted him to see what had gone wrong. He texted me back about me not wanting dresses. I was very confused since I was contacting him about a deck. He later explained he meant to text someone else. He called me later in the evening and said he had to work late and would call me on Sunday to set up a time to stop over. On Sunday at 4:45 he called and said he could set up a time for Tuesday. When I told him that I didn't want to keep waiting and that if this was his attempt to impress me with his work ethic, how did he expect to get the job, he hung up on me. I was just so disappointed by his lack of courtesy. I understand being busy, but calling to cancel hours after you were scheduled to be somewhere is anything but professional.

This was a very terrible situation. The intended customer was not easy to get to. There were no contracts or meeting. I am sorry to disappoint any potential customer.

Job was a re-roof, tear off and replace shingles. Patrick was easy to work with. Seemed to have issues with his employees showing up and their lack of experience. Overall the job was completed on time. Quality of work was average.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Removing and replacing walls, enlarging rooms, remodeling bathrooms and kitchens. From the beginning to completion, we do complete renovations. I have been fortunate to have been a consultant to a historic neighborhood development in Denver, Colorado. I have also had the position of project manager with the rehbilitation service of the YMCA of Milwaukee and a number of commercial projects.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for honesty not price. Price should reflect quality but always compare exact designs and descriptions. Not every contractor can design a project. Select a contractor that you know will give you service or in other words, call their references. Pictures can help, but a reference is a standard.
