Introduction: I will be straight and honest with you.If after we speak I can help you, great. If not, I can help you find someone or a training center who can. I grew up training Labradors and now have Newfoundlands. Please don't ask me to help with toy breeds or dogs under 30 pounds because we will not "relate" since the "little guys" are not in my training background. I do not use force on any animal. With all positive motivation, we can achieve happy, reward-based, outcomes for both you and your dog. The evolution, change and progress I see in my students and their dogs IF - Big IF here - IF they take what we work on for an hour or two and practice practice and practice again until our next meeting. Don't expect anyone claiming to be a jack-of-all trades "dog trainer" with an experience-based on-line "degree" to work miracles on your dog. The Good Ones have been at it with their own dogs for years and they will teach YOU to be the miracle worker.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
MY PHONE IS ALWAYS OPEN. I've never charged for a phone consult or to bounce ideas around. Call me at Area code 920 757-9709 to discuss your goals. We can agree on the cost that works for both of us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I teach for Winnegamie Dog Club as a volunteer where problems and ideas are shared on a weekly basis among a group of equally-able people who collectively probably bring 500 years' experience to bear. My wife and I regularly train and compete with our dogs in AKC conformation and working dog events, often against some of the best dogs in the US. "Drs. Google and You Tube" offer unending opportunities to see what other canine behavior approaches and ideas are out there and evaluate them. I keep and incorporate some and trash the rest.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Veterinary medicine is a great profession, but daily practice usually involves saving sick and injured pets, solving tough problems and often conveying bad news. In retirement I have found great joy and satisfaction helping people enjoy and get the most out of their healthy pets.
