I would like to know them a little, their job, family,pets,who they have hired before me and what caused the change. Then, the most important part is to LISTEN to find out exactly what their needs and expectations are.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet your potential provider before hiring them. Allow them to give you an on-site estimate-it will be beneficial to both sides. Talk to their previous clients.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Every situation is unique, so be specific about your needs. Ask if your particular needs are part of the provider's offer. Is it included in the price? What would cause the price to increase? Does the provider have recent references (people you could actually call)?
