We were in a fix, the rain prevented any lawn care, then a 10 day business trip coupled with 10 days of COVID left us with an unmanageable mess of a lawn. I put the “call” out on Thumbtack and Riley Lawn Care was the first to respond. One other declined and a third had initial reply but no follow up. No matter since I would usually choose the first responder - which was absolutely the right choice. I described the situation, Ryan came by to check it out, detailed his approach and quoted a price (which was reasonable for the work that needed to be done). He arrived as promised and decided a rough cut was the first step, and committed to a follow up finish cut a few days later. Throughout he kept me informed and arrived back as promised… when finished not only had he done a second cut but a third which left the lawn in great shape (as well as trimming). We’re very satisfied with all aspects and would have him back again although I like to mow myself as well. Anyway, a job well done.

I highly recommend hiring Ryan from Rokey. The first thing I asked him was if he maintained his own equipment; change blades, clean under deck, oil and grease, etc. He said he does and this is very important to me so no down time “at a shop” during the height of the season as this has been my experience in the past. He is very attentive to doing a wonderful job and definitely is in his element on his tractor. Very much into the details and the detailing of the yard. Excellent communication and punctual. He is good people and I am so thankful to have him. (Ask him for pics of his work…he’ll gladly provide.)
