- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down with them over coffee,lunch,drinks or something so that they get a chance to talk to us and see what we are like to help them make their decision. It is at this casual meeting I let them know it will be me that comes with my helper who is my wife. If they are satisfied with us we sign the contract and I give them paperwork that helps them in listing their songs and style of music so that I can make a list that matches their style.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to DJ ever since I was out of high school. But I did not know how to go about it. I seen a DJ at a wedding and wanted to work towards it. Then a friend could not afford a DJ, I got upset and really went to work on finding out how to do it. I was much older now and had the time and money to get started. I wanted to provide people with a reasonable music service so that nobody had to go without music for their special day. Everything else I learned on the fly. I learn more each day. I told the drivers I trained if you don't learn something every day you must be dead. I work at learning something every day.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide music mainly for weddings,and private parties of all kinds to include graduation, retirement, and anniversary parties. We also have provided music for bar parties.
