Hello! Trevor with Distinct Grain Custom. I started a woodworking hobby nearly 10 years ago and it has spiraled into owning and operating a fully custom cabinetry shop. I have experience building custom homes and renovating old homes. I am interested in chatting with anyone looking to make any improvements to their space, whether new or existing. We hired Distinct Grain Custom to build a built-in cabinet and shelving area for the mud room/back entrance to our home. We were blown away by Trevors attention to detail, expertise, and his outstanding customer service. He worked with us to narrow down exactly what we wanted, offering his advice when we asked for it, as well as taking into account all of the must-haves that we requested to have in the space. It was a truly personalized experience, and Trevor was extremely knowledgeable when it came down to picking which wood and finish we needed to achieve the color scheme and overall look that we were hoping for. Trevor was amazing to work with! Not only did he do a beautiful job on our mudroom build, but he was also really great about answering my questions and providing updates through out the build. His prices were very reasonable and he was transparent (and fixed!) damage done by the paint matching company to one of our cabinet doors. 100% recommend if you are looking for custom carpentry!

Trevor was excellent to work with. We asked him to build shelves and a couple of our rooms and also work on a couple doors in our old house. He was able to develop solutions for everything that we needed and really expanded on the ideas we had. All the work he did was first class and we Well definitely bring him back for our next project in the house. We have recommended him to several of our neighbors and friends who have needed work.

Trevor did an amazing job with the custom plant stand and white oak bench we wanted for our home. He was very responsive and helped us make decisions on what type of wood we should use. Our space is small and we needed a custom solution to make both pieces work and he was very helpful during that design phase. Were very happy with the end result!

Trevor was awesome to work with. He did an amazing job on our kitchen. He was very professional. If we had any questions, he had the answers or would get them for us. Every day he worked, he would clean up the kitchen area so we were able to still use it if needed. The final cost of the remodel was very close to what he had quoted (very reasonable).
