I hired Helping Hands to upgrade from 100 amp service to 200 amp service in my house , and replace my ancient electrical box in Summer 2015. They did a spectacular job! These gentlemen were timely, professional, took care of the permitting and inspection scheduling, and were super friendly to boot. No joke, the inspector said to me as he was leaving the first inspection: "I don't know why I have to come back for the final inspection- this is the most professional job I have seen in years."
I was also doing a kitchen remodel at the time and we ran into some unexpected electrical issues while the guys from Helping Hands were there. Ader took time to help us figure out the previous owners creative electrical work and then agreed to come back a few days later to make sure that everything was up to code . Couldnt have gotten it done without their guidance and help.
I was referred by a friend and looked them up on other review sites- they lived up to their sterling reputation. I will definitely hire them again for any future electrical work I need done.
PS. Ellos hablan Espanol tambien!

Outrageously overpriced!I needed two outlets moved about two feet higher on a wall. A very simple job.I made an appointment and was told the technician would arrive between 10 and 12. This was perfect as I WFH and had a meeting at 9. I then received two separate texts confirming the 10-12 time slot. However, the technician (Ader) arrived at 9. Some might appreciate the early arrival, but for me it was extremely inconvenient. It got worse when I received the quote, $747! I knew from having electrical work done previously this was a ridiculous price. I paid the $65 trip charge then called another electrician. He gave me a ballpark price of $175 over the phone, showed up that same afternoon and charged me $152.50. The work took less than an hour.Helping Hands is easy to deal with, but they are counting on people not having any idea what electrical work costs. Always get more than one quote!

This companys policy is to withhold all pricing information until you pay a $65 fee for a home visit. A paywall around basic transparency is disappointing and outdated. In 2025, transparent pricing shouldnt be treated like a luxury add-onit should be standard business practice.I declined their visit after hearing from others that even simple services are often quoted in the thousands. Such a high level of pricing, combined with a lack of upfront disclosure, makes it impossible to assess value without already being financially committed.Using information asymmetry to take advantage of customers uncertainty around pricing isnt just bad practiceit wastes peoples time, creates unnecessary stress, and erodes trust. I wont do business with companies that operate this way and neither should you.
