(Review for mounting our bikes and TV, plus hiding the wires behind the wall for the TV.) From the time TSJ Handyman Services reached out about our project on Thumbtack until the work was complete, I was impressed with how clear, professional, and amiable Colin was. After explaining our ideas for placement of the bikes/TV, Colin discussed what he was able to do, how long it would likely take to do it, and also provided additional input for best placement for visual aesthetics. Colin was efficient and we were VERY happy with the completed result (see attached photo)--exactly what we had imagined come to life. We will definitely reach out to TSJ for future projects and recommend Colin to others.

Colin has excellent skills and got my mirror and TV mount installation project done 100% perfectly. He is very kind and professional to make sure all the details meet the expectations. He made great advice and went to Homedepot to pick up all the hardware. Very reasonable price! Best handyman service in town!
Very timely in responding. I had a few different items that needed to be done and he completed them quickly. He even offered options to save me some money. It was a pleasant surprise not to have to worry about hidden extra costs. I have already recommend them to others.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $50 per hour for smaller tasks and can quote for larger tasks. I do give a 10% cash discount. I accept cash, check, PayPal and Venmo but am currently unable to process credit cards.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to sit down with my clients before I start the job to go over options and costs. Then we, together, can form a plan to complete the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides holding multiple degrees in teaching, I learned my skills by working alongside many other professionals doing home repair and renovation projects.
