Dan did a fantastic job for a somewhat unconventional photo shoot. He chose the perfect backdrops for the type of photos I was interested in and did a wonderful job capturing a variety of different expressions and poses. Turnaround time for the digital images was extremely quick especially given the number of pictures we took that morning. I would highly recommend his work!Jul 8, 2020VerifiedWine Guy Photography's reply
Thank you Bill!!
Dan is a great outdoor family photographer. We did our family shoot outdoors, in the cold, and he was efficient and incredibly considerate of the little children. He was friendly, funny and everyone loved him. The photos turned out better than we could have hoped for! I would highly recommend Dan for any occasion.Dec 23, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am super reasonable and flexible. If we need to craft a shoot/pricing around your specific needs it's no problem. Let's talk!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once we decide we are a match, I like to find out in more detail exactly what you are looking for. I'll then work up a simple contract and we will set a time and place to shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a BA in History from UW-Madison and an MA in History/Museum Studies/Public History from UW-Milwaukee. Trained in research, culture, anthropology, story telling really. My college education dovetails nicely with my 30 years in the wine business. While I'm self taught on the specifics of wine, its my thirst for knowledge about the wine regions, people, history that make me really good at what I do. In the same way, my passion for photography (which predates my love for wine by about 10 years) has driven me to learn as much as I can about all facets of the art. People, history and story telling play a large role in my approach to photography.
