FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep a close industry fair pricing system. Since I am available to travel and have an open schedule, I think my pricing is more flexible. I only charge an on location fee for 30min of travel from Madison or Lake Mills, which covers a lot of territory. I also have online booking for customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to consult with a new customer about their vision for their desired look, talk through a trial, and set up a clear timeline ahead of time to maximize the event preparation. We'll keep working on the look until it's perfected at the trial. I usually follow up after a trial and find out how the makeup held up and see if we need to make any revisions for the big day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a licensed esthetician as well has continued education courses in makeup. I like to say this is my "day job." I think my business background helps keep an air of professionalism.
