Delta Dawn and cowboy are the best. Made my wedding go off without a hitch. They both went above and beyond my expectations for a Dj. Played all the music that we had asked for and stayed on the ball with everything. Couldn’t of asked for a better Dj to do our wedding!!!

We had such a great time with Delta Dawn and the Karaoke Cowboy at our wedding last week. They were easy to plan with and knew how to keep the crowd dancing. We got to have some karaoke and a great variety of music for all! Such a great DJ duo at such an affordable price!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The customers should know: We have individual estimate for each event and service we provide. And each event and service has a different value. We have some different expenses as well for each. A basic service is 4 hours. If they would like more time, that it is additional time and is an additional fee, and may be discounted, depending on the details. I give estimates with everything you ask for, we travel and taxes include as specified in estimate. Unless, you have not shared all the details, there may be an additional fee. Our estimate is a flat fee. We do not include a tip in our estimate like some vendors may. A tip is always nice to show your appreciation for the work we do for you but not necessary. I need all the details to determine and give them the best possible estimate. The details are very important; type of event, about access (to see if, we can handle the job or if, I need or can hire someone), hours, what type of services they need (such as ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance music.), additional services and equipment needed. Nothing is ever in stone til I know all the details. We create a package for the customer based on details the customers gives, then depending on the details, I may combine and discount. The reality is your estimate could be more or less, but most likely less. Usually starts out more and you get more for less.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is usually through email or phone. Once we start communicating, we can go from there. I provide the customer with information about our services and what we provide. I listen to what our customers want and need (while incorporating their own unique music preferences and ideas of what they want); their requests, their choice of music, concerns and questions. Our top priorities are the customer, what they want and their event. We like to get to know our customers, their likes and dislikes, and the details about what they want and need, so that we can create DJ Service that is totally for them. I like to get a better idea of what you and need, I need to know about what specific type of event they need music services for, how many hours, access to indoor/outdoor venue, and what additional services or equipment desired or needed, if they prefer anything specific. Once, they tell us the details and I confirm the information, I need to know. I will provide the best possible estimate. If they choose our services, I require a signed contract and retainer fee to reserve their event for their special day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both have a lot of experience with providing MC Services, a lot of the music (we come with a lot knowledge about the music. I wish I knew every song! We are always studying!), sound and troubleshooting problems. We have more years experience at what we do than being in this business and knowledge. We have over 40 years experience in customer service and studying the old & new music. I have over 36 years experience organizing and planning I have over 25 years experience running sound. I am self taught playing various instruments. My husband has been Certified Electronic Technician, Sound Technician including operating sound for bands and worked on computers for over 38 yrs. He has been involved with music, since he was 4 years old, singing and playing various instruments and has many blue ribbon and gold medals for singing. He studies the new types of electronic equipment and repairs of equipment. We both have experience owning and operating our own businesses.
