If I don't fix it, you don't pay but that is rare and usually it's because the computer costs more to fix that it's worth. FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common reason for computer problems are malware (malicious software), this includes viruses. Malware can case problems from slow computing to your computer not starting at all. 90% of my work is malware making me very experienced in it's removal. What sets me apart from most companies that perform malware removal is that I start by baking up all of your data before starting my work, this way no matter what happens you DO NOT loose any of your files. If it happens that after removing the malware Windows is too damaged and needs to be re-installed, the price for my labor does NOT go up, I charge $90 or less for all repairs, never more. Another common problem I deal with is hard drives in laptops. The failure rate for hard drives in laptops is very high because most companies use low quality drives to save money. I only replace the hard drive with a quality name brand drive and In many cases I can recover the data.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Many of the lower cost repair places just re-install windows. This fixes your problem but you loose everything, all of your installed programs, and worse of all, all your pictures. This is the easy way out. One thing to consider, if the price is too low, they most likely don't know what their doing and are not licensed or insured. On the other side, there are many out there that charge way too much taking advantage of the customers lack of knowledge. When looking for someone to fix something as important as your computer you should do some research, go to their website and look for customer reviews. If possible, ask others that may have used the service. Take your time, do not rush.
