FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is transparent and competitive, with no hidden fees. Every estimate is detailed so customers know exactly what they’re paying for — materials, labor, and any necessary prep work are clearly outlined upfront. We occasionally offer discounts for full-home projects, larger square footage jobs, or returning customers. We also try to work within your budget when possible and can discuss different material options to help meet your price range without sacrificing quality. Any additional work outside the original scope (such as subfloor repairs or unexpected prep) is always discussed and approved before moving forward — no surprise charges. Our goal is to provide high-quality work at a fair price while keeping everything honest and straightforward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process starts with a consultation — either over the phone or in person — where we discuss your project goals, timeline, and budget. If needed, we schedule an on-site visit to take measurements, assess the space, and go over material options. After that, we provide a detailed written estimate outlining the scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing so everything is clear upfront. Once approved, we schedule the project and confirm start dates. Before beginning, we make sure the area is properly prepped and protected. Throughout the project, we maintain clear communication and keep the workspace clean and organized. After completion, we do a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. Our goal is to make the process smooth, transparent, and stress-free from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training comes primarily from hands-on experience in the field, working directly on flooring installations, removals, and full-home renovations. I learned the trade by working alongside experienced professionals and developing a strong understanding of proper preparation, installation techniques, and industry standards. Over time, I’ve continued to refine my skills by staying up to date on new materials, tools, and installation methods. Flooring products and systems evolve, so it’s important to understand manufacturer guidelines, proper subfloor preparation, moisture control, and finishing techniques to ensure long-lasting results. I also focus heavily on job-site safety, efficiency, and professional project management to make sure projects run smoothly and meet high-quality standards. For me, experience, attention to detail, and consistently delivering quality work are the foundation of my expertise.
