We loved working with Tracie on premarital counseling! She was kind, thoughtful, and very flexible to our logistical needs. It was so convenient to work with Tracie because she was able to come to our house every week for five weeks. Tracie asked a lot of questions, made space for us to think through the important steps in preparing for marriage, identified our key areas of focus, and followed through on all that she promised. We would recommend Tracie again for premarital counseling in a heartbeat!Aug 22, 2016VerifiedParamount Counseling Services, LLC's reply
Thank you! You two were a pleasure to work with and I wish you both much success and happiness in the future.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? There is a full-fare pricing structure for services offered that is applied to all. However, most insurances will cover the cost of services. You are encouraged to call your insurance company to verify your benefits beforehand. For those without insurance, services can still be offered on a sliding scale basis at a substantial discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The process usually starts with a phone call. During that phone call, we gather basic demographic information, discuss the presenting problems, and schedule the appointment for the initial diagnostic interview. At the time of the appointment, the new client should arrive approximately 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork. During this face-to-face session, the client will provide more detail about their reason for seeking services. We will then work together to establish goals and client needs as well as develop a plan to achieve each goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My academic journey in the field of psychology began at Xavier University of Louisiana where I graduated with a bachelor of science (BS) degree in psychology. I then went on to get my master of science (MS) from Capella University with a degree in clinical psychology. In clinical training, I worked at an outpatient mental health clinic where I eventually gained employment and continued to work as a clinic coordinator and psychotherapist for nearly 5 years. I am now in private practice and in school working towards a PhD in general psychology. My name is Tracie Stewart, MS, LPC and I am the executive director at PCS.
