Introduction: * PLEASE do Not contact me withOut reading All I wrote below because all answers for the initial and main questions are there. Thumbtack charges providers/me for Any contact, so contact me Only if you feel like that I am the right person for you. Please do not ask irrelevant or casual questions like "what else do you do", "sounds good, what's next", "your estimate",.. I am not in construction business; just know that i am helpful and affordable, and ... the prices out there might be similar but the quality is not always there...
* Questions that were already answered to in this description will not be answered. I am not willing to work on/with someone who doesn't know or doesn't agree with my personal and general rules. If one doesn't have time to read through this disclaimer, then one has to find another therapist because rules are the rules and i can't work with someone who doesn't take me seriously and doesn't care about rules and laws.
* All intentions in getting a sexual massage from me will be reported to Thumbtack.com.
* I wrote a lot here on purpose: my experience tells me to have a good, thick filter to avoid misunderstandings and troubles.
* Please contact me Only with serious intentions and plans.
Thank you!
* My name is Denis Putikov.
I do massage therapy full time since 2004.
* Care and attention, intuition and knowledge. Manual therapy fundamentals, Traditional Chinese medicine, ayurveda, myofascial and neuromuscular therapies, grounding/relaxation massages.
* Holistic and personal, completely customized approach; a good experience and long-lasting effects are the main traits of my work.
* Especially I like to help people with fibromyalgia, different lower back pains, migraines and difficult chronic issues.
* I am not going to explain my views on misconceptions and confusions about "deep tissue", "sport", "swedish" stuff here. I do not do "standard massages" - i do massages that help with my best intentions, knowledge and expertise and with a client's understanding and consent. To me, there are only two kinds of massage - good and bad. I am trying to do good.
* A confusing question I was asked a few times since I got into Thumbtack: "What's included in your price?" Answer: I am a licensed massage therapist, I offer a manual therapy, massage, so the price includes massage, which is the main and powerful thing. I might use (quite often) hot black stones and hot wet towels: it depends on their availability (for home visits i have only heated table with clean linens and oils) and what is appropriate for a particular person. * The description of my work is very clear - massage Therapy. So, people looking for "sexy relaxation", please, don't even bother contacting me or other real therapists with those intentions.
* The prices are regular normal prices (not a spa prices where you can get only relaxation massage for a big buck, and at least 70% of your money will go to the owner of that spa). My price depends on: time/duration, complexity, effort, distance and gratefulness. I always try to do my best (regardless of $ compensation). If someone is having bad times or/and need regular massages because of a health condition - i understand that and i always try to be helpful from this point of view as well.
* Usually people pay me 80-100$ per session (1 -1 1/2 hour)...some less, some more... Cash or checks. No cards.
* I don't work late evenings, Saturday afternoon and on Sundays.
* No appointments after 7PM.
* Please make sure that the place is not clattered and is fresh for a better experience. * Please do not smoke (if you are a smoker) before massage and in the room where you are going to receive a massage: smoking before massage can have an adverse effects (including a minimized effect of it, dizziness, soreness,..) and it is very difficult for me to do a good job in this kind of environment. Smoking after massage does not do anything good either. Thank you!
* I come to your home with massage table, fresh linens, good oils and best intentions. Also, I am working at a Elm Grove location.
* First massage is a "talking massage": in addition (Not taking time away from massage) I spend more time with a person asking about the current issues, medical history and getting to know a person (on professional and human levels). After that - the quieter the session, the better for everyone.
* All and every visit must be documented (basic information, medical history, current intake) - it is safer and the law and rules require that.
* If you are looking for a modern spa experience - I am Not the person you need. I can help you relax, but not in that fancy and superficial way. If you need a good massage - I will try my best.
* With all clients I stay within limits of massage therapy, I am not a doctor, or chiropractor, or nutritionist, or psychiatrist, or voodoo, or ... If I see that some other (certain) therapies would help or if a person needs a medical attention, I always refer him/her to appropriate therapist. I know a few different therapists that I trust and I am not affiliated with them business wise. * My personal views are my personal views, my professional opinion is my opinion: take it or leave it.
* I have done thousands of massages and, I would say, 98% of people I gave massages to, if I'd ask for their review (prefer not to bug them), would say only good things about my work. I need more people in those ~98% ;)
Thank you for consideration.
