Working with Steve was an amazing, POSITIVE contrast to previous contractors we've had in the house. We gave him a "test drive," by asking him to install a couple of windows. When we experienced his workmanship and dependability, we then contracted him to patch up the drywall and install the kitchen cabinets we had already ordered from another company. Dependable: Steve came when he said he would---or called when he was running late. He also went above and beyond what was "required" of him to do his job. We didn't have a car big enough to bring one of our windows home, so Steve picked it up for us, and brought it home! Quality of workmanship: His work was outstanding. Steve paid attention to big AND small details (leveling each of the cabinet doors!); carefully followed--or improved upon--the cabinet plans; touched up the paint that was scuffed when cabinets were installed; and cleaned up after himself every day. With the drywall, he took the time to go over it two or three times, until the new part was seamless with the old. With the window trim, he made a custom stain that beautifully coordinates the window trim to the cabinets, and gave me extra for our future use. Knowledgeable: He knows the code, and chooses to go beyond the minimum. He moved one of our windows, and told us the minimum header was eight inches. He chose to put in an ten inch header. When the rough work was done by the other contractors (plumber and electrician), he pointed out a couple of things that weren't up to code, and said we should be sure these details were done before the rough inspection. He helped me save thousands of dollars by walking me through how to be my own general contractor---at no cost to us. From time to time, Steve would even call me to see how things were progressing, and let me know the "next step," to keep things moving. He pointed out ways he could have saved me money on the cabinets, if I had ordered through him. We're hoping to do an addition on the house in a couple of years. When we do, we'll be calling this guy again. Thanks, Steve, for your outstanding workmanship! I LOVE our kitchen! :)

Had full window replacements, bathroom remodel, new egress window put into basement as well as even did some water damage repair work for me in my basement. Where others had quoted me a price just for my water damage. Curro's Unlimited did all the above at a much better price.
I am a very detailed person by nature! Painting is my best attribute in the renovation or remodeling industry. I have a very steady hand with trim or detail painting. If the painting surfaces need repairs, I will fix the said painting areas. My work is done with minimal disruption of living areas. I am super clean with work areas, and I clean up. Knock on my left knee. I have never had a complaint with my work ethics or finished product! I am also very capable of fixing other things -- storm doors, windows, caulking, railings, decks, minor electrical, etc. I am honest with customers -- meaning, if I can't do the job, I will say so and even refer them to someone who can. My clients include St. Paul Fish Co., Pro Audio Properties, and many of my neighbors and friends.
We do major and minor home improvements. We do drywall installation, painting, electrical services, plumbing and roofing (licensed), floor installation and concrete work. Plus, I have done plenty of moving even long distances. Please feel free to contact me for a free estimate.
