Why choose me? Experience and success!! Unlike most tutors with inefficient techniques or companies who hire tutors to teach for them, I have the experience and the credentials to personally help you succeed. I have helped thousands of students get into Ivy League, Big Ten, SEC, Big East, and Pac-12 schools. My resumé includes Kaplan test prep, arbor tutors, varsity tutors, tutor doctor, and many other test prep consulting positions. So, I have the experience and strategies you need. When the material doesn’t come to you, I will.
Since 2010, I have tutored partially online and have created quite the following, which is why tutoring during COVID-19 has not changed the quality of my tutoring. I offer contactless lessons via zoom or in-person lessons on the east side of Milwaukee. All zoom lessons are recordable, so you will be able to review the lessons even after it’s over. So, the learning doesn’t stop when the lesson is finished.

Thomas was very helpful and helped me in improving my ACT score. He was friendly and helped me study by making me do lots of practice tests. He also gave me many good test strategies that helped me with time management. I recommend him to anyone who needs motivation to study and practice in order to improve their test scores.

Cannot recommend Thomas enough! He worked with my daughter on math and science portions of her ACT and she showed great improvement - increasing her overall composite score by 5 points in addition to big improvement in science and math. Highly recommend!

Thomas did a very nice job working with our daughter, a junior, on prepping for the ACT. She recently received her scores and did well. Thomas was very good to work with and came to the house. He was very accommodating regarding the schedule and worked hard to rearrange his appointments to meet our changing schedule. I recommend Thomas highly.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out their needs, assess where they are at with materials, and then get them back on track with their classes. After getting my students caught up, I make sure they get ahead in their classes. What's the point of tutoring, if not to get ahead and excel?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in microbiology, and I am currently finishing my masters. I have training as a tutor/supplemental instructor as well as level 1 & 2 tutor certification from the the college reading and learning association (CRLA).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started tutoring in high school (before 2006), but consider 2008 my official start as a professional tutor during college. I was a supplemental instructor, TA, and tutor for UW-Milwaukee.
