Introduction: Gold Medal Sound is a mobile dj service with 25+ years of working with couples who are getting married. We have worked with schools for prom & school dances or even other events like dance competitions, car shows, grand openings, and large and small companies who want to have a great holiday party or corporate event. We have also emceed large events and also worked in clubs so we know what keeps people on the dance floor.
Gold Medal Sound customizes every event to maximize your budget and results. We strive to stay on the cutting edge of technology yet have a throw back feel from years ago when going to a dance was something we looked forward to.
We balance each event with both a romantic flair and a party edge. How can we do that? Experience. Experience with crowds and learning how to read people. Understanding that you need to warm them up to move and have fun. We also know the basics of speaking to people, one-on-one. There is an art to speaking to a crowd and how to talk to 350 people, yet it feel like you are speaking to each one alone.
We are also building a lighting design reputation in the area with unique ways to change the look of a basic room and give it character for your event with uplighting, gobo projectors, large moving heads, glo totems, and much more. We also have many services that are free with a booked event like timelines you can create of your big day, music selection online, worksheets, pay-as-you-go so the event is taken care of by the time it happens, with each booked event you are given a private page to customize your event and correspond with Gold Medal Sound and the other vendors at your event like Photographer, Venue etc.
Working with all types of weddings, parties and events. We may be working with a school administrator to have a great middle school dance on a Friday, to a couple getting married on Saturday. We also limit our events to a maximum per month, so we are able to handle each event like it is the only one that month. We have played music for bean bag tournaments, on the Fin N Feather Showboat II in Winneconne for radio station events, car shows, to formals, prom and wedding ceremonies and receptions and each event is unique and we cater to get the right fit for all budgets and event sizes. A wedding in a small room doesn't need the equipment that a large ballroom does, we try to find a great balance yet offer ala carte services that you can add on to packages that make it your own unique event.
