Introduction: I have a lot of different musical tastes and I like to experiment. Playing music from multiple genres from the past 45 years gives me an advantage. I can mix two songs from two completely different eras and have mom, grandma and daughter all dancing together. I like the connection I build with my audience. When I play music to keep them dancing and we're in the moment together, it's a magical feeling. I'm having a great time because they are.

DJ Pablo was easy to work with, professional, and had lots of great ideas for making our wedding reception fun. He was really concerned that we had the party that WE wanted and even included special touches like coordinating lighting setups with our wedding colors. Highly recommended!

Paige, thank you for the great review. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into putting on an important event, and I'm glad that my efforts are appreciated. I had an awesome time at your wedding, I will absolutely love to provide entertainment for you or any family & friends in the future. You guys rock!

Paul was incredibly professional, organized, and great to work with in the planning process. On the day of our wedding he came through with exactly what we had hoped for, was quick on adjust to what we wanted in the moment, and many of our guests said it was the best dancing they had ever experienced at a wedding! I would highly recommend Paul to anyone.
DJ Pablo Segura's reply
Katelyn, thank you so much for the awesome review. This is the reason why I put so much effort into my events because I want this same result for all of my clients. You two were a pleasure to work with and I will gladly give your friends and family the same quality of service that I have given you. Thank you again for letting me entertain you and your guests on the most important day of your lives. Enjoy the honeymoon!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attend DJ seminars and take online training courses to learn as much about the business as well as the technical aspects of the art of DJing (scratching, mixing, beat matching, etc). I also have a fairly large network of mentors who I share best practices with. It all comes down to throwing an event that your clients are more than satisfied with. You have to put in the effort in order to exceed expectations.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be careful hiring someone for an important event just because they've quoted a cheap price. Be sure to investigate to know what you're getting for your money. You get what you pay for.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish more people understood the hard work that goes into what we do. Most customers only see the party, but there is so much time and preparation that goes into our performance. From building and maintaining a solid music library to creating custom remixes and edits of songs to loading up/tearing down. There is a lot of behind the scenes effort that goes into making your event the best it can be.
