I would say that i mix different music genres into the party really well and keep people entertained and guessing. By take requests from the audience and advice into mixing it in the playlist. I know a lot about the industry but I'm also humble. There is always room for improvement but I put everything i have into each show 100%. Ever since I was in college, I have had a passion to DJ for people. Many have told me that i was really good and I decided to pursue this even further. Through the years, i learned the different types of events and how to get the crowd going. I like to read the crowd to make sure they are having fun. I know a lot of songs but not every song. I like to hear what people listen to, and expand my music library and knowledge.

I dont usually write or send reviews for anyone. However this review is well deserved. We met with Jim, looking for a Dj for my grand daughters sweet 16 party. She decided she wanted to hire. Myself and my husband was extremely happy with him. He was very tentative with her needs and what she wanted, as well as ours. He was 100% professional through the entire experience. He did a mix with multiple songs for her court to perform at her party. She had a song list for different dances with family and close friends, also a list of songs she wanted played through out the evening. Jim questioned some of the music as far as songs being appropriate, with explicit lyrics. Jim wanted to make sure the songs were ok to play. My husband and I give Jim much respect for that. When Jim showed up to the venue he was prompt, on time with working equipment. All the lights worked, sound was crisp clear, and the uplighting added to the mood of the evening. At the end of the evening while we were taking down decorations, he jumped in and helped us. Which was extremely helpful and appreciated. Jim went above and beyond all expectations that we had. All in all we would 100% hire him again for another event. Jim was friendly, polite, respectful of our needs and to our grand daughter needs. It was a wonderful experience working with him..

Jim from D-Jeneration was so easy to work with! We used him for our wedding reception and were very pleased. He was very responsive, professional, accommodating, well-priced, and most importantly he showed up ready to DJ. The dance floor stayed busy and he was helpful with emceeing too. He made sure to have the music available offline to not rely on wifi, and he was able to mix/fade songs to avoid dead space like a professional.

Jim with D-Jeneration did an outstanding job DJing our Senior Prom event! Scheduling was seamless, he arrived early with plenty of time to set up, and he was incredibly accommodating to the musical preferences of our older guests.
