I had water damage to my engineered wood floor which was glued down to concrete. About 25-30 boards needed to be taken out and replaced with new boards. Awhile ago I had contacted another wood floor specialist who declined to work on the project due to the difficulty of getting this done. I found Steve through Thumbtack and he was prompt in getting in touch with me, coming out to assess the work needing to be done, and scheduling a time to complete the work. He and another person finished in about a day and a half and the floor looks absolutely fantastic! My husband and I are extremely pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. We cannot tell where the new flooring meets the old, there was no smell from the adhesive used, and everything was cleaned up after the work was finished. Not to mention that it was very affordable. I highly recommend Steve and would definitely hire him again in the future!

I'm a contractor that does full-house remodeling (flipping high end homes). I contacted Sandman based on a referral from a mutual customer. Steve was very prompt in getting back to me. He quickly came to my job site and measured the large floor area I needed refinished. We had several unique floor problems with the existing oak floor. Steve and his crew came up with quality fixes/suggestions and he gave me a very competitive quote. He was prompt to schedule the re-finishing and showed up as planned. Steve and his crew did a great job on the day of the floor refinishing, fixing all of our floor problems as promised. His recommendations on color were spot on. The finished product turned out absolute as planned, and enhanced the appearance of the home's interior. We have since resold the house, and the the floors were mentioned by every single interested buyer. Thanks to Sandman for a great job. I will be posting his work on my company webpage, and will be using him as a sub-contractor going forward.

Steve always responded quickly to my phone calls and completed the job on schedule. The floors turned out very nice. good quality work. Would recommend him for floor refinishing to others
