FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We try to keep our prices affordable. Our services start with brush painting and can be upgraded to offer GlitterToos as well (or instead). Interested in the elegant Couture GlitterToos or "Real" Matte Tattoos? Just let us know for a special price. When traveling outside Cheyenne, we charge by the mile.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to finalize contact over the phone so we can cover all the bases, make sure we answer all your questions, and get the answers we need to make sure we meet your needs. New customers (and most old) follow the same procedure: Give us the basics - date, time, type of event, # of guests, etc. and we'll check our availability. If we are available, we'll need to get with you to determine services wanted, # of Designers needed and other details, then we can give you a price. If you decide to hire us, we will send a booking agreement which, when returned with your booking fee (non-refundable; applied to your first hour), secures your date. Once that's in, it's a count down to fun, because we love adding color to events big and small.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both Boo and CJ have had an interest in art since their younger days, and still enjoy it now. They affectionately call Cross Eyed Designs the "hobby that pays for itself" because it is a fun way to do what they enjoy and get paid in the process, but when it comes to offering you professional service, don't mistake their part-time status as anything but serious. Over the last 8+ years, they have invested a great deal of time time and money in choosing their materials from ONLY well established, reputable companies that offer safe, cosmetic grade product, and in learning new techniques to create designs that will not only be bright and colorful, but as safe to you and your guests skin as they can.
