Over the last two years or so I have worked with Matt on two large photo sessions and Matt also provided my husband and I with a picture that is beyond words beautiful. But let me start from the beginning. My husband and I picked Matt to do both our engagement photos and our wedding photography. From the first phone call I knew that this was the right choice. Matt took his time to understand what we wanted as a couple for all of our pictures. Our wedding was right before we moved across the country, so not only was it a time to celebrate a new marriage with our family, it was also “goodbye” in so many ways. All of the pictures captured from that day are beautiful and everyone smiling. The extra picture Matt made for us was one very close to my heart. I had a series of very old pictures of our Grandparents that have passed away (think high school portraits), and on last minute notice (long story), Matt was able to take the digital images of these photos and take what I wanted in my head and transform it in to something far beyond anything I had created in my mind. And for what everyone always wants to know, Matt is incredibly affordable and able to create packages to fit anyone’s budget depending on what you are looking for. He is always looking for new and creative ways to make those packages and make it work for the person or couple.

I chose MG Norris Photography for my wedding pictures and could not have been more happy with the result. I had a traditional Catholic wedding with Mass & reception, and the photographer's knowledge and appreciation of the inns and outs of the ceremony allowed for some amazing and deeply respectful images of the fullness of the Mass, all done in a tasteful and unobtrusive fashion.
Matt went out of his way to accommodate some specific shot requests, and even hunted out a great nearby field when our ceremony ran over into the evening Mass time and we were unable to do 'altar call' shots.
My groom and I had given my wedding party swords as their gift - and we wanted some fun shots of sword arches, mock combat, and the like with these engraved weapons. If you are looking for someone who knows how to pose an armed party, look no further.
Matt's service was complete from the beginning of the day to the last song of the reception - no skipping out early because his hours were up. He brought in all his own lighting, and there is no comparison between the other candid photos wedding guests snapped and his work, both at the mass and the reception.
Lastly, his turnaround rate is *amazing*. My husband and I were still on our honeymoon in Innsbruck when I received the message that the photos were available for me to view - an entire massive digital album. Needless to say the quality was fantastic.
A no-hassle experience the whole way through. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Matt is an incredible photographer to work with. He's artistic, creative, and innovative; he always gets his gorgeous, finished images to you promptly (often in under a week, which is remarkable!), he doesn't charge nearly as much as he should, and to top it all off, he's incredibly fun to work with! He clearly loves what he does, and it makes working with him all the more fun. He's never once had to ask me to smile, because chances are, if you're working with Matt, you're already smiling.

Matt is a brilliant photographer who has the ability to set clients at ease in about two minutes. I'm one of those people who doesn't really like being in photos but Matt has set my mind at ease during shooting and has shown me a trick or two to be more comfortable in a shot.

I have used Matt Norris as a photographer to document my wedding, my first daughter's first months, and my second daughter's, as well.
In between those special moments, I have frequently looked at the photographs and been incredibly grateful to have those moments recorded.
Not only were the moments well preserved, they captured the exact emotion, and each time I see the pictures, I feel it again. Photographs can be more than just an image, when done properly.
