Proceed with caution!!Matt was very difficult to work and did not back his work like he said he would. He completed a full bathroom remodel for us and left many things unfinished. It is very unfortunate that we have to go back and fix the things correctly and spend additional money as he did not guarentee his work. We had high expectations going into our remodel. He sold us on the fact that he does high end remodels but unfortunatly he was unable to complete a basic remodle for us. We now have a very expensive bathroom with uneven tile, bubbles in paint, and a tub that doesnt hold water.My wife tried to take a bath in our new tub and it would not hold water. When we had him come to look at it he wanted to charge us extra for labor and for the price of the part to replace it as he said it was defective eventhough he was the one who bought and installed our drain kit. If he would have checked it when he installed it he would have noticed that it didnt stop water from draining. This was our first big project in our new home and its sad that we are unable to enjoy the finished project. Chris, it is unfortunate that you feel this way. I feel that there is nothing more that I can do to make you happy short of giving you a free bathroom. I spent countless hours on the phone with you answering the questions you had about materials, I worked around both you and your wife’s schedule and I drove over an hour to pick up a replacement check when your first check bounced. You didn’t even apologize or offer to pay the bounce check fee? You blamed the bank... I feel I went well above and beyond to please you. I not only painted your doors, I installed a backsplash that was not part of our original agreement. It is unfortunate that when you open the walls of old homes that unforeseen expenses arise, for example the walls that needed to be reframed due to them not being square. I have added nothing to the cost that your wife and you had not requested or authorized. It is also unfortunate that sometimes parts fail or are manufactured poorly. I do and did test everything prior to the completion of the job. At the jobs completion everything functioned correctly. As far as my warranty, I warranty my work not the parts. So when you called me 2 weeks after the completion of you bathroom to address the plunger not sealing, I came without question. I offered to fix the problem. You stated that you could fix it and that it “wasn’t worth “ me fixing it. I showed you exactly how to fix the problem, you said you could “handle it”. I then advised you that you needed to contact Home Depot for free replacement parts. At that time I left your home and you again stated that you were 100% satisfied. So,when I got a a phone call from you less then 10 minutes later with you calling me all kinds of profanities, verbally assaulting me and threatening me that you were going to “ruin” me “everywhere you are”, I was taken aback considering you and you wife had just been raving about how much you both loved the bathroom... Then you hung up on me when I was trying to resolve the issue. Perhaps, the fact that you were obviously and admittedly intoxicated at 8:30 am has something to do with were we are today. I don’t even accept payment until my customers are 100% satisfied with the final results. Prior to accepting payment twice I had asked you if you were were satisfied and you stated on both occasions that you and your wife loved it and were completely happy with the finished results. I will gladly fix the plunger for you after you apologize for the disrespectful and insulting comments. I installed exactly what you and you wife purchased at the price you wanted to pay. I think your bathroom looks very nice.

I have been through a number of handyman from h..... ! I could not find one that was a perfectionist like me and one that is reasonable and fair. Then I found Matt. Matt is absolutely the best. His work is impeccable and he does everything to perfection......and to make me satisfied with their work, isn't easy!.
