FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have hourly rates, retainer rates, and subscription rates. The hourly rate starts at $75 per hour but goes down if purchased in bulk. Monthly retainers begin at $120 and go up incrementally by $40 based on an estimate of expected work needed and it is reviewed quarterly. Subscriptions are also recurring fees that are set for particular services - somewhat like an ala carte menu.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first priority is to ensure that working with me is the best option for my client. If it isn't I do my best to find the right fit with some of my contacts to ensure the client will still be a satisfied customer. I start with 30 minutes free consultation and discussion which further qualifies the working relationship. I send an invoice for work agreed upon and begin work upon receipt of payment. You can expect email support replies through a ticket system within 24 hours of any request. I also have some regular reports that I use to follow up with clients that are part of my subscription services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had a knack for graphics, layout, and design since being introduced to some of their applications during my high school journalism classes. I have spent endless hours working from my computer (just ask my family) and educating myself about website promotion, installation, setup, design, development, and internet marketing. Pretty much anything relating to strategies for online success. I have also attended over 600 hours of industry related training webinars, numerous meet-ups, live events, and contribute regularly in more than few chat groups. I also started industry community – the online work network for web professionals – where members collaborate to impact millions through learning and sharing.
