I'm not sure what was the best part of my Boffo Cart experience; the initial kindness and responsiveness of Rhasaan, the food, the service or the value of what we paid for all of the aforementioned! Who am I kidding? Our favorite part was definitely the food! Book with this guy and his company, you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I used Boffo Cart (Rhasaan and Goldie) to cater our wedding in San Francisco. We started by picking our favorite food items from sample menus and communicating our food preferences (Southern comfort food/BBQ) to Rhasaan over phone/email. Then we met Rhasaan in person at our tasting we scheduled in Oakland and felt comfortable immediately. He brought out dishes we had discussed and some other fun options based on our preferences. After packaging up the leftovers of the generous portions, we sat down to discuss all our options. During our discussion, we learned that Rhasaan loves the food he prepares and interacts with a calm, professional demeanor, which is reassuring when finding a wedding caterer. We signed a (very affordable) contract shortly thereafter with Boffo Cart including service for passed appetizers, family style BBQ, coffee/tea, and cake-cutting. My husband and I communicated with Rhasaan and his wife, Goldie, via email between signing the contract and the day of the wedding. Because of their unfamiliarity with our venue, Goldie exceeded my expectations by attending a site visit with us and our wedding coordinator (without additional charge!) to ensure that everyone was on the same page. Rhasaan and Goldie also handled all of the rentals for us through Standard Party Rentals. On our wedding day, the Boffo Cart team was punctual and set up the reception area perfectly. The food was even more delicious than we remembered at the tasting. Every table was served in a timely manner so that we could progress through the planned festivities. Our guests LOVED the food and had plenty to eat, leaving us some leftovers for the following day. Yum. The Boffo Cart team left the venue spotless at their contracted end-time, leaving us a thoughtful card on their way out. My husband and I were contacted a week later with the final payment invoice, with which there were no surprises. Overall, Rhasaan and Goldie are an absolute pleasure to work with, the food is undeniably delicious, and the service is remarkably affordable. My husband I would recommend Boffo Cart to anyone for any event no questions asked.
