    This is your guy
Chas is one of the sweetest and most knowledgable people I know. Chas performed our wedding ceremony in May of this year and his presence both before and during our ceremony made it even more special and memorable. He met with us before the wedding via Skype to get a sense of what we wanted for that day and with each other in the ceremony. He listened carefully and helped us define what was in our hearts. Where we were stuck he made suggestions from his years of experience and from what he heard we wanted. WE designed a ceremony together, the three of us, then he wrote it all up, ran it past us for edits and we were complete. I could go on an on with details but I'll wrap it up by saying I highly recommend Chas August for your wedding or event.

Top 1% of All Relationship & Intimacy Coaches Worldwide
Chas has not only personally helped my husband and I through marital issues, I have recommended him to all of my followers. He has a quality of insight that comes from years of helping rooms full of people searching for more intimacy and connection. Chas is like a sweet Jewish mother who will see through the morass of your own feelings to sort out a path to get what you want and kick your butt into doing it. Want your problems solved? Permission to have more? Someone with whom you can confide your deepest fears safely? A guy who's been there and done that for hundred, if not thousands of other seekers before you? I rate Chas August in the top 1% of all relationship and intimacy coaches. If you are drawn to him, take advantage of his sage advice, wisdom and kindness.

    Great expereince!
We had an amazing experience with Chas. He followed our lead and took care to get to know us and really understand what we wanted. The ceremony was great and had a personal touch. He also had a very calming and positive vibe that helped to keep me relaxed and calmed my nerves before the ceremony. Highly recommend!

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Wedding Officiant: We'll talk on the phone (probably 2 or 3 times), I'll point you to sources and sample ceremonies and together we'll design the wedding of your dreams. Couples/Relationship Coaching: We begin with you telling me your "story." How you met, what you hoped for, what happened. I possess what clients describe as an uncanny ability to show rather than tell you what’s been blocking you. I listen to what you’re not saying and mine your “story” for the secret, innermost thoughts and beliefs that keep you stuck and thwart your attempts at lasting love. I’ll help you understand the patterns that trip you up so you can find that great partner, express your desires and stay open to the needs of your partner so the two of you can be the best possible lover for one another. Each session includes learning an actual skill/technique to take home and try.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring my real-life experience to our coaching sessions. I grew up in a substance-abuse household, where I was quite the trouble-maker. Hungry for attention—even negative attention—I was convinced I could never get the love I craved. I confused sex with love and chemistry with connection. Married at 23, I was at a loss about how to make that relationship work. After my marriage ended, I discovered the “Sex, Love and Intimacy” workshops of the Human Awareness Institute (HAI). In the “room of love” created in those workshops, I found great healing. More than a break-through; the workshop introduced me to a way of life I didn’t know existed. I finally discovered that I could get—and give—love in a way that fulfilled my deepest longings. I became a workshop leader and spent the next 17 years traveling the world and guiding others to open their hearts and learn the skills that allow us all to find the love we need. I am a long-time student of Transactional Analysis and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). I’ve studied with Marshall Rosenberg, author of Non-Violent Communication, and was mentored for many years by Stan Dale, the founder of Human Awareness Institute (HAI). I have a certification in hypnotherapy, and I am also a certified instructor of Parent Effectiveness Training (PET), offering training and conflict resolution for parents. I’ve designed and led hundreds of workshops, support groups, and leadership trainings worldwide.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate is $150/one-hour session. I offer 4 sessions for $500 and 10 sessions for $1000. I also offer a reduced pricing for those in need. I'm not a licensed psychotherapist or psychologist and do not accept insurance.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1988 I discovered the “Sex, Love and Intimacy” workshops of the Human Awareness Institute (HAI). I started seeing private clients in 1989.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with individuals, couples, teens and families.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding the right help is a very personal decision. Look for someone who validates and appreciates you, not someone who makes you feel broken or small. Look for someone who actually offers the help you are hoping for. Mostly, trust your inner knowing, your feelings about the provider.
