FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on a contingency fee, which means that you'll never pay a penny out of pocket. Baskerville Law is paid a competitive percentage of the amounts that we recover for you. In the unlikely scenario that we're unable to recover compensation for you, you pay us absolutely nothing. We'll discuss this structure in detail in our first meeting, and there will never be any surprises (hidden fees, excessive fees, etc.). We strive to keep our expenses as low as possible while being as effective and efficient as possible, so that you receive as much money as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an initial consultation and case evaluation, which is completely free. Through this risk-free consultation, we'll discuss what happened. We'll have an honest conversation about your legal rights and options. From there, I'll let you know if it is even in your best interest to hire an attorney to represent you and we'll talk about potential next steps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an attorney licensed to practice in New Mexico. I have helped hundreds of clients and their families to recover fair compensation for the losses they have suffered due to the negligence of a third party. Before helping New Mexicans to get back on their feet after an accident, I worked as a defense attorney, so I know how the other side operates. I use that knowledge and experience to the benefit of my clients.
