- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Anytime I get the pleasure of working with a new guest. I always start with a very warm welcome. I feel it's very important to make a new guest feel comfortable with me, considering I'm going to be very up close and personal in their bubble (as I like to call it) for the next 45 minutes to an hour. To accomplish that, I always start off with cleansing the face with either a gel cleanser or cream cleanser, depending on skin type. Once I've applied the cleanser, I start off with little circular motions on the cheek working my way around the face, and while in the process I also do a consultation. Asking a little bit about your normal makeup routine, asking some other questions that gives me some detailed insight about the level of makeup I'll be applying. After I've cleansed, I get an amazingly warm face towel out of a towel warmer, apply around ur face. Let the warm comforting steam roll around your face, let the warm compress rest on your face for a second or two, take my clean hands and remove the cleanser. Spray a little mist of comforting rose water toner for added hydration, as well as sealing your freshly cleansed face. Finish the consultation, by this time in my mind I'll have a clear vision of exactly the direction we are going with makeup, while taking some moisturizer and finishing your mini facial so when we apply all makeup, your face is a prepped and cleansed pallet that allows makeup to glide so effortlessly.
