FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When you're purchasing a home, generally, my compensation comes from the sellers. When you're selling a home, my compensation (and the compensation for the buyer's Realtor) comes from you. If I represent both you and the buyer, I provide a significant discount. Generally, my fee is 6% of the purchase price of the home (split 3 and 3), with a discount to 4% if I procure and represent the buyer as well. This fee includes: - Professional photography - Essential staging (if home is vacant), and advice and assistance on how to re-arrange if home is occupied. - Funds spent on Facebook, Instagram, and digital enhancement efforts to generate buyer interest. - Online visibility maximization (I can explain in person) - Flyers/Print marketing material and signage - Door to door knocking and canvassing - Free pre-inspection from Hemmi Home Inspections ($220 value) - Open Houses at a frequency convenient for you (I prefer every other weekend, until it sells) After your home goes under contract, I focus heavily on communicating with all parties involved in a transaction to ensure that everyone's doing what they need to do to make your home sale as seamless as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a face to face sit-down meeting, so we can really hammer out what you're trying to do, timelines, motivations, etc. These questions differ wildly if you're a buyer or a seller, but regardless, I also take that time to listen to your thoughts, questions, and concerns, and come up with a plan to get your need met.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations, have spent four years in corporate communications working with small businesses and international corporations on digital and content strategies, and have a deep understanding of the importance of keeping you informed throughout the home buying and selling process after purchasing my own home in 2013 and having no idea what was happening. I want to ensure everyone has a more straightforward, unambiguous experience than I did :)
