- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for Thumbtack clients, Veterans, first responders, and trauma victims. See my website under FAQ for more pricing details. I strongly believe therapy is a way to gracefully get on with life - it should not become a way of life! To this end, I work briefly and effectively so clients do not have to see me long term. I offer a money back guarantee for my work. In effect, my professional services are risk free to you. My bias is that all therapists should guarantee their work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client sets their personal goals and we begin the process in the very first session! There's no set formula as I customize the treatment to meet their unique goals. I draw upon a host of innovative, science based methodologies to assist the client in quickly evolving in accord with their goals. With innovative and effective tools, clients can quickly and gracefully move beyond their issues.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) as well as well as being nationally certiffied as an Accredited Social Worker (ACSW). The ACSW required two years of actual clinical supervision as well as passing a national exam. I am also a certified clinical hypnotist (CH). In addition to my formal education and certifications ,extensive, ongoing training has been a core fundamental in my work. I've been unusually fortunate to work at agencies that offered extensive, post master's degree training and live supervision! This is a rarity. The common denominator has been learning innovative ways to help people quickly evolve beyond their issues.
