FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Right now since it is a newer business I typically charge about $20 an hour. Of course it also depends on the degree of work that needs to be done. I have clients with hoarding issues who I simply can't charge the same as someone who wants their cabinets reorganized.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get an idea of what kind of space I am working with before I begin. I will see what they feel the biggest problem areas are and assess what will be needed in order to tackle those. Its good to get a sense of a person's lifestyle in order to figure out what methods or systems would be the most efficient given their day to day routine.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At the moment I am a stay at home mom with a six year old so I am constantly looking for new ways to make our home efficient yet still fun and accessible for her. I like to find ways that she can also participate in the household tasks which takes some getting creative from time to time. Not to mention mountains of patience which is really all organizing requires.
