- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard hourly rate is $70 per hour, but I bill some projects with a flat project rate instead of an hourly rate. Usually, a complete logo package or website creation falls into this latter situation, and the cost varies depending on the terms and conditions of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new client, I schedule a 30-minute meeting (in-person or via Skype/phone and email) to discuss your vision for your communications needs. For branded content, I often ask you to send me some examples of the content that you admire. I map out each round of work with you before I start, and track time/projects on Toggl for accurate reporting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my BFA in visual communications from Laguna College of Art & Design, and have worked continuously in marketing, public relations, and visual communications ever since. My work appears with my name on it in regional publications, and I create branded content that has appeared both regionally and nationally. I am a member of the AIGA for graphic designers, and the AMA for marketers.
