Patient, positive, full of energy, professional, and kind, are a few words I can use to describe Kenzie with Forever Young Photography. Kenzie did beyond an outstanding job with my daughter's newborn photos. She captured very precious moments that I will treasure forever. She had such patience when my newborn became agitated during the session. Kenzie took all the time necessary to comfort my daughter and continue with the photo session. By far one of the greatest experiences. Beautiful work, outstanding photographer.

Kenzie did an absolutely fabulous job with our newborn photos. We couldn't have been happier. She was an absolute guru in getting our baby girl into certain positions and capturing amazing moments. We will forever cherish the photos she took for us. I highly recommend Kenzie Boyle and Forever Young Photography for your newborn photos.

Pros: Kenzie is a very sweet and personable lady.
She is really good with babies. She was able to calm my baby down and was very gentle with him.
Her studio is warm and inviting.
She was willing to incorporate a prop we had, which ended up being our favorite photo.
Cons: Difficult to communicate via Thumbtack. She did communicate well thru text messages.
She said it would take 3-4 weeks (which I felt was a long time to begin with, but she was going on vacation), however, it ended up being 4 1/2 weeks. I had to ask for an update. Would have preferred if she let me know she was running behind schedule.
The pictures are just so, so. Not terrible by any means but are lacking in variety. I would have preferred more props instead of just different colored blankets. But this may be due to her just getting started with her studio. Also, the pictures with my husband, baby, and I are just okay. Wish there was a better background and that we were posed in different ways. She just kind of rushed through this part.
Lastly, as a suggestion, maybe don't accept a client if you're planning on being out of town that week of the mothers due date. I was a week early. I called to tell her that I had had my baby (on 8/3), in which she replied that she was going out of town on 8/7 and so I had two choices. Come in on the 8/6 or wait until 8/19. She explained that she assumed I would be overdue since this was my first child. Well since these are newborn pictures, we chose the 6th. Which meant it was the day after our first night home from the hospital. We were exhausted. Would have liked to come a week after the baby was born (which is the typical).
Overall, like I said, very nice lady. I can tell that she truly enjoys taking newborn photos. I know that she is learning and improving. We were very easy going and did not have certain expectations. So this was a good lesson for us as well. Most important, I think her timing is what bummed us out. The timing of when she could take the photos, the timing of how long the photoshoot was (she mentioned that this was her fastest newborn shoot-perhaps she should have taken more time), and her lack of promptness in getting the pictures to us- all of these factors could be improved.
