- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, for Interior Design Services. For other disciplines it may vary. However, I am also willing/able to tailor a 'system' for the client. Generally - ID Services: Hourly Fee (billable time down to quarter hour increment min.), modest flat rate trip charge for project-required travel, modest markup on purchases made BY us, however, have well-thought out process for client purchases. All is presented up front. Always know, everything must be approved by the customer throughout the process. No surprises! Proven system - reasonable & straight-forward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial meeting (Consultation) where we get acquainted, review your project(s), your goals and objectives, any schedule parameters (driving forces), and then I present our process via our standard letter of agreement because it thoroughly outlines the process. I share how similar clients' projects have worked, what was included and what it cost the customer. I am a planner and believe in strong project planning upfront. I am a skilled, seasoned project manager and believe that steadfast management is key to creating a successful experience for you. Therefore, STRONG PLANNING + STEADFAST MANAGEMENT = PROJECT SUCCESS!
