FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing model is event and non-event based. For events, there is an hourly rate plus a base session fee. Non-event pricing is based on the number of pictures desired plus a base session fee and is not limited by the amount of coverage time. We are flexible and for those occasions that don't fit our pricing model, we will work with you to find a pricing model that works best for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We cover many times of photography styles but what matters most is the type of photography you as the customer desire. When working with a client we want to get to know you and the style of photography you want. Before we even take the first picture, we want to hear from you personally about your preferences. From there, we typically set up mood boards for you post examples in addition to what we have in our portfolio as examples. This way we are all prepared ahead of time when the day of the shoot arrives.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in engineering and a Masters degree is Business Administration. Both go hand-in-hand when it comes to photography and running a business. I love to learn and I continue to educate myself on a daily basis. There are many resources I use for continuing my education. A couple of which include SLR Lounge and Phlearn. They are amazing resources! Pye and Aaron rock!
