FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer career services based on the needs of the client. I have individual services priced separately from the coaching itself. Your first consultation will identify your goals whether coaching is beneficial or individual services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors of Science in Human Services (Behavioral Health, community, serving others); Steps To Economic And Personal Success facilitator certificate; Career Service Specialist in education/ colleges since 2014; and Member of NACE National Association Career Education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Career or job changes can be difficult! Interviews can feel like interrogation, sometimes we question our skills and compare ourselves to our competition, before we know it, negative self talk sets in and we self-sabotage and we limit our potential. I know this because I’ve experienced it all. Life presents opportunity - without recruiting experience I was hired as a recruiter of a small staffing boutique because someone saw my healthcare education and retail experience as potential. During my time as a recruiter, I started college working on my degree in Human Services (which is the degree of helping people)! Every time I interviewed candidates I would find myself career coaching practicing what I was learning in our therapy classes and I genuinely cared about the people I was recruiting. When I helped them find employment using techniques I advised on, or worked on goals that created confidence, and their lives and family dynamics began to change, the experience was rewarding! I was developing a passion to help others achieve success!
