Dustin has done many remodeling projects for our company, Wessinger Properties, over the last few years. He has done multiple bathroom and kitchen remodels and also had an integral part in a whole house remodel a couple years ago. Our remodels tend to be quite challenging because the houses are often 100+ years old and the job often grows considerably once you start tearing into walls and floors and discover all of the underlying problems and inadequacies that often show up. These 'suprises' require an ability to improvise and problem solve in order to maintain the best possible project outcome. Dustin is quite capable in many trades including electrical, plumbing and framing and of course tile work. He will be honest and forthcoming if he feels a specific task is beyond his capability. But tiling and masonry are his specialty. He has created and built numerous custom shower enclosures and has had to do a lot of creative and custom work to come up with more usable and durable bathroom and kitchen designs in our often chopped up and older homes. We rent to mostly college students, so we always try to focus on designs that are easy to maintain and durable but that also have some modern style. Dustin has a good eye for design and is always willing to try new ideas. He will absolutely be one of the hardest working people you will ever meet and he always strives to complete projects in a timely fashion and with a high level of quality to the finished product. I trust him in my properties and with my projects and I think anyone who uses him for a project will be pleased with the end result and service he will provide.

Dustin Lang, LB I Trowel Works, recently remodeled my kitchen and bathroom. I was absolutely amazed by his work ethic and attention to detail. He was involved in the design and choosing of materials. He worked long days to complete the project on time and under budget. He turned my bathroom, that was outdated, into a beautiful space complete with a spa tub. He gutted the kitchen and changed the layout to make it fully functional including relocating the sink to the opposite side of the room. He cut out a wall and turned an unused living room into an amazing dining room that i use and enjoy every day! He was easy to work with and full of creative ideas. I would greatly recommend him to anyone considering a remodel He does everything including cabinets, electrical, plumbing, framing and tile.

Dustin was very easy to work with, friendly, and went above and beyond to deliver an awesome final product - my new bathroom. He completed demo, waterproofing, tiling a floor and shower/tub surround, grouting and installing fixtures within a week. He's very hardworking and I'd highly recommend him other projects. I plan to hire him do remodel my other bathroom next year.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique, and I prefer to do an on-site estimate; this allows for a more complete, detailed estimation process, as I can get expectations from customers and also inform them of limitations based on location, material used, and budget concerns.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon meeting a customer to bid their job, I like to get a feel of their knowledge and expectations of the work they want, while also trying to determine their budget and needs so we are able to nail down a complete scope of work. This allows me to be thorough with my estimate, so there are minimal changes in the pricing and date of completion during a project. All projects are unique in size, scope, and what limitations may exist. I want my customers to feel confident and comfortable with me--I will be spending time in their homes and around their families. A home is an investment that needs to be maintained and cared for. I like to think I treat my customers' homes as I would my own.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received education in Schluter shower systems.
